CoolSculpting® Elite can treat patients with a BMI of ≤ 46.2. It is also FDA-cleared to treat the appearance of lax tissue with submental area treatments.
With the NEW CoolSculpting® Elite, we can use TWO Large Dual Applicators on your treatment area to freeze twice the amount of fat at the same time, as compared to using ONE applicator. The applicators we use at BeautyFix also feature up to an 18% larger cooling area as compared to the previous generation of CoolSculpting. It treats more stubborn fat in the same amount of time, and treatment requires little to no downtime, so you can get back to your busy day.
CoolSculpting® Elite is FDA-cleared for the treatment of visible fat bulges in the submental (under the chin) and submandibular (under the jawline) areas, thigh, abdomen, and flanks, along with bra fat, back fat, underneath the buttocks (also known as banana roll), and upper arm.

PRE TREATMENT CARE
To minimize bruising and ensure the best results, please avoid certain medications and supplements at least 3–7 days prior to your appointment.
Avoid The Following:
- Aspirin / Baby Aspirin
- Ibuprofen (Advil, Motrin, Aleve)
- Fish Oil (Omega-3)
- Vitamin E
- St. John’s Wort
- Ginger, Ginkgo Biloba, Ginseng
Important:
If you are on prescribed blood thinners, do not stop them without your physician’s approval.

POST TREATMENT CARE
Proper aftercare is essential for optimal results and smooth recovery.
Immediately After:
- Avoid touching, pressing, or massaging the treated area
- Do not engage in strenuous exercise or heat exposure
- Mild redness and swelling are normal
Sun Protection:
- Use SPF 30+ sunscreen daily
- Avoid direct sun exposure and heat until swelling subsides
- Reapply sunscreen every 2 hours when outdoors
Managing Swelling & Recovery:
- Swelling may occur, especially the next morning, and typically lasts 2–3 days
- Apply cold compresses for 10 minutes every hour
- Sleep with your head elevated on the first night
- Avoid sleeping on your stomach
Note:
Lip treatments may experience swelling for up to a week before settling into final results.

Honestly, I had an amazing experience and currently planning my next visit in February as I type. I worked with Elena in Flatiron for my cool sculpting appointments, she was so attentive and kind (also very funny). She was extremely informative and willing to answer any of my questions. I booked the 4 for 8 sessions and we did 4 over 2 hours and it was a great experience. It was a very easy process. The technician was very knowledgeable and pleasant. The procedure was fairly quick and I was able to return to my normal activities immediately after.
