A consultation may be needed for getting SkinFix: VI Peel on any other part of your body. The VI Peel can be used to treat areas such as the neck, chest, arms, back, and legs.
WHEN WILL I SEE RESULTS FROM THE VI PEEL?
Minor improvements are visible immediately after the peeling phase is complete. Full results typically take 4-6 weeks to appear. Patients will begin to notice that their skin appears firmer, clearer and smoother with a youthful, radiant glow.
WHAT ARE THE SIDE EFFECTS ASSOCIATED WITH THE VI PEEL?
There are no immediate side effects after treatment. It typically takes 2-3 days before the skin begins to peel and will continue for up to 6 days.
What is the downtime?
There is no downtime necessary after treatment and patients may resume daily activities immediately.
This treatment uses a unique formula blend of TCA (trichloroacetic acid), Tretinoic Acid, Salicylic Acid, Phenol, Vitamin C and other minerals.
The VI Peel works to safely and effectively remove the damaged layers of the skin, promote cell growth and improve the surface layer of the skin.
This treatment leaves you with clearer, firmer skin for a more youthful, radiant appearance.

PRE TREATMENT CARE
To minimize bruising and ensure the best results, please avoid certain medications and supplements at least 3–7 days prior to your appointment.
Avoid The Following:
- Aspirin / Baby Aspirin
- Ibuprofen (Advil, Motrin, Aleve)
- Fish Oil (Omega-3)
- Vitamin E
- St. John’s Wort
- Ginger, Ginkgo Biloba, Ginseng
Important:
If you are on prescribed blood thinners, do not stop them without your physician’s approval.

POST TREATMENT CARE
Proper aftercare is essential for optimal results and smooth recovery.
Immediately After:
- Avoid touching, pressing, or massaging the treated area
- Do not engage in strenuous exercise or heat exposure
- Mild redness and swelling are normal
Sun Protection:
- Use SPF 30+ sunscreen daily
- Avoid direct sun exposure and heat until swelling subsides
- Reapply sunscreen every 2 hours when outdoors
Managing Swelling & Recovery:
- Swelling may occur, especially the next morning, and typically lasts 2–3 days
- Apply cold compresses for 10 minutes every hour
- Sleep with your head elevated on the first night
- Avoid sleeping on your stomach
Note:
Lip treatments may experience swelling for up to a week before settling into final results.
