How Long Do the TrapTox Results Last?

Is There Any Downtime After TrapTox?
After your treatment, you can effortlessly return to your daily routine. For optimal results, we advise refraining from engaging in strenuous workouts, hot saunas, and massages within the first 48 hours following all of the neurotoxin treatments.
TrapTox (also known as Barbie Tox or Shoulder Slimming Botox) is an advanced shoulder slimming treatment that involves injecting neurotoxins such as Botox or Dysport into the trapezius muscles. It helps relieve discomfort associated with tight muscles, reduces stress and headaches as well as helps enhance upper-back aesthetics for a refined appearance.
The trapezius muscles, essential for daily movement, stabilize the neck and shoulders for good posture. However, they become inflamed and enlarged from certain weightlifting exercises, reaching overhead, poor sleeping positions and posture, and sitting hunched over.
The TrapTox treatment utilizes Botox or Dysport injections to selectively relax and slim down the muscles in the shoulder region. By injecting neurotoxins into these specific muscle groups, BodyFix: TrapTox aims to relax the muscles and, in turn, improve posture, neck and shoulder stiffness, and pain, and create more of a contoured and elongated neck. BodyFix: TrapTox treatment also alleviates tension in your neck, shoulders, and upper back that can lead to discomfort and postural problems.

PRE TREATMENT CARE
To minimize bruising and ensure the best results, please avoid certain medications and supplements at least 3–7 days prior to your appointment.
Avoid The Following:
- Aspirin / Baby Aspirin
- Ibuprofen (Advil, Motrin, Aleve)
- Fish Oil (Omega-3)
- Vitamin E
- St. John’s Wort
- Ginger, Ginkgo Biloba, Ginseng
Important:
If you are on prescribed blood thinners, do not stop them without your physician’s approval.

POST TREATMENT CARE
Proper aftercare is essential for optimal results and smooth recovery.
Immediately After:
- Avoid touching, pressing, or massaging the treated area
- Do not engage in strenuous exercise or heat exposure
- Mild redness and swelling are normal
Sun Protection:
- Use SPF 30+ sunscreen daily
- Avoid direct sun exposure and heat until swelling subsides
- Reapply sunscreen every 2 hours when outdoors
Managing Swelling & Recovery:
- Swelling may occur, especially the next morning, and typically lasts 2–3 days
- Apply cold compresses for 10 minutes every hour
- Sleep with your head elevated on the first night
- Avoid sleeping on your stomach
Note:
Lip treatments may experience swelling for up to a week before settling into final results.
