What does Sculptra do to your Face?

FaceFix: Sculptra is one of BeautyFix’s most popular face fixes that gives you natural, long-lasting results. Sculptra promotes the production of collagen and will softly add volume surrounding those boney prominences. The injections of Sculptra are often repeated at two weeks and the results will improve over the course of 6-8 weeks.
As we lose volume, the boney structures of our face become more prominent. This process makes our facial features become hardened as we lose the softness of youthful volume. As facial volume loss progresses throughout the decades, we begin to see hollowing in the temples and the area in front of our ears below our cheekbones. This can be improved with the use of FaceFix: Sculptra which may last from 1 to 5 years.
Once the procedure is completed, you can immediately get back to your daily routine. Keep your face clean to avoid infection at injection sites. It's important to massage the treated area 5 times a day for 5 minutes for the 5 days following treatment to prevent lumps or nodules from forming.

PRE TREATMENT CARE
To minimize bruising and ensure the best results, please avoid certain medications and supplements at least 3–7 days prior to your appointment.
Avoid The Following:
- Aspirin / Baby Aspirin
- Ibuprofen (Advil, Motrin, Aleve)
- Fish Oil (Omega-3)
- Vitamin E
- St. John’s Wort
- Ginger, Ginkgo Biloba, Ginseng
Important:
If you are on prescribed blood thinners, do not stop them without your physician’s approval.

POST TREATMENT CARE
Proper aftercare is essential for optimal results and smooth recovery.
Immediately After:
- Avoid touching, pressing, or massaging the treated area
- Do not engage in strenuous exercise or heat exposure
- Mild redness and swelling are normal
Sun Protection:
- Use SPF 30+ sunscreen daily
- Avoid direct sun exposure and heat until swelling subsides
- Reapply sunscreen every 2 hours when outdoors
Managing Swelling & Recovery:
- Swelling may occur, especially the next morning, and typically lasts 2–3 days
- Apply cold compresses for 10 minutes every hour
- Sleep with your head elevated on the first night
- Avoid sleeping on your stomach

Lip treatments may experience swelling for up to a week before settling into final results.

I had a great experience with Mimi. She is very sweet, thorough and not rushed at all (which I unfortunately experienced with other providers and naturally that makes you feel uneasy).
