Our SkinFix: IPL PhotoFacial treatment delivers beautiful, youthful skin using Intense Pulse Light (IPL) technology that has the power to reverse the effects of years of sun damage, as well as improve age spots and freckles.

When will I see results from my IPL PhotoFacial?
Immediately after treatment, you will appear flushed red, this typically lasts anywhere between 4-24 hours. Results will become more visible as the red begins to subside. Individual results vary.
Can I combine it with any other Skin Treatment?
Yes, this can be used in conjunction with other superficial treatment.
What is the downtime?
There is no downtime required after your IPL treatment, however, it’s important to remember to avoid the sun and wear a strong SPF for at least 2 weeks, post treatment.

We use broadband light to help improve the appearance of sunspots, age spots, rosacea and your skin's overall texture.

PRE TREATMENT CARE
To minimize bruising and ensure the best results, please avoid certain medications and supplements at least 3–7 days prior to your appointment.
Avoid The Following:
- Aspirin / Baby Aspirin
- Ibuprofen (Advil, Motrin, Aleve)
- Fish Oil (Omega-3)
- Vitamin E
- St. John’s Wort
- Ginger, Ginkgo Biloba, Ginseng
Important:
If you are on prescribed blood thinners, do not stop them without your physician’s approval.

POST TREATMENT CARE
Proper aftercare is essential for optimal results and smooth recovery.
Immediately After:
- Avoid touching, pressing, or massaging the treated area
- Do not engage in strenuous exercise or heat exposure
- Mild redness and swelling are normal
Sun Protection:
- Use SPF 30+ sunscreen daily
- Avoid direct sun exposure and heat until swelling subsides
- Reapply sunscreen every 2 hours when outdoors
Managing Swelling & Recovery:
- Swelling may occur, especially the next morning, and typically lasts 2–3 days
- Apply cold compresses for 10 minutes every hour
- Sleep with your head elevated on the first night
- Avoid sleeping on your stomach
Note:
Lip treatments may experience swelling for up to a week before settling into final results.

I am in my 60’s, and I started IPL due to some sun damage over the years and mild rosacea. IPL has improved my redness greatly and has helped with my pores and skin texture. I love how my skin feels.
